We are delighted to invite you to an artist talk by Bianca Salvo, recipient of the Archivo Acquisition Prize 2024, on October 10th, 2024, at 6:00 PM (UK time), hosted on the Archivo Platform. This free event is open to the public, however advance registration is required.

In this talk, Bianca Salvo will delve into her broader artistic practice, with a special emphasis on the project developed during her time at the Archivo LAB 2024. Her work critically examines image-making and narrative construction, engaging with how visual culture influences our perception of reality.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to discuss the artist's work directly.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Bianca Salvo (*1986) is a visual artist living and working in Bogotá, Colombia. In 2020, she graduated cum laude from the MA in Plastic Arts from the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, and in 2012 she received her MA in Photography from the London College of Communication. She is currently lecturer in photography at the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá. Her work has been shown in Italy and abroad in several collective and solo exhibitions.
