ANA LÚCIA MANDELLI DE MARSILLAC

Psychoanalyst and adjunct professor of Psychology at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), in Brazil. Has a PhD in Visual Arts - history, theory and criticism from UFRGS, and PhD in Communication from New University of Lisbon. She is a researcher in the fields of psychoanalysis, art and politics with many publications in these areas. Coordinator of the psychoanalysis laboratory, creative processes and political interactions (LAPCIP/UFSC).
Ana Teresa Vicente is an artist and researcher based in Lisbon, Portugal. She has a PhD in fine arts, photography by the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Fine Arts. She has been presenting her work through exhibitions, conferences, and artist talks since 2005. She is currently teaching at ESAD.cr (Caldas da Rainha, Portugal).
Farrah Karapetian centers the subject’s agency in her research and artistic practice. Her work is in multiple public collections. Her methods incorporate sculptural and performative means of achieving imagery that refigures the medium of photography around bodily experience and participation. b.1978 US; BA Yale University 2000; MFA UCLA 2008.

Karine Chambefort-Kay is a senior lecturer in contemporary British visual culture at Université Paris Est Créteil, France. Her research focuses on cultural, social, and political uses of images in British contemporary society, with a special interest in exhibition and archive policies and the issues of identity formation, memory and space.
Luís Quintais was born in 1968. Poet, essayist, anthropologist and professor at the University of Coimbra. He is developing research on transdisciplinary studies, with special emphasis on contemporary art, having collaboration, in particular, with the Círculo de Artes Plásticas de Coimbra (CAPC) and the Colégio das Artes da Universidade de Coimbra.
Associate professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Her projects merge her creative practice with her research work, as is the case of the curated exhibition Herbarios Imaginados o Zoologías. Her photographic work is focused in the field of Botany, and her work was exhibited in Casa de las Ciencias de Logroño, and Jardín el Jardín Botánico de Madrid.
Researcher & educator based in Berlin & Dublin. He holds a practice-led PhD, Lecturer BA(Hons) Photography, Institute of Art, Design & Technology (IADT), Dublin & Postgraduate Supervisor (Programme Chair 2017-2020). Since 2011, Visiting Professor, MA Visual & Media Anthropology, Freie Universitat Berlin. Incorporating multi-media installation, centrally informed by visual anthropology, beginning in the late 1990s, he has undertaken a cycle of four long-term research projects, critically addressing the predatory context resulting from migrations and flows of global capital.
Reader in Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts London and an award-winning photographer and educator living and working between Sarajevo and London. His work is represented by VII Photo. He has covered breaking news the world over, including the fall of the Berlin Wall, Nelson Mandela’s release, the conflict in the former Yugoslavia and the destruction of Grozny. Recent books include Photography Rules and A Chronology of Photography.
Has a degree in Fine Arts (UCM) with a specialisation in New Media Art (MEDIA Lab, University of Art and Design, Helsinki, Finland). Artist, researcher and teacher at BB.AA. Universidad Complutense, where he is a member of the research group “Prácticas artísticas y formas de conocimiento contemporáneas” and “Arte y Tecnosfera”. Will soon publish his thesis “Prácticas cartográficas del arte postlocativo”.
