ARCHIVO workshops are designed for visual artists, researchers, students, educators, curators, and cultural practitioners interested in photography, archives, and visual culture. They also welcome participants from independent or non-academic backgrounds with a strong interest in these fields.Workshops bring together participants with diverse experiences and perspectives, creating an environment for critical discussion, collaborative learning, and interdisciplinary exchange.

Most workshops are open to participants with different levels of experience. Where specific knowledge or skills are recommended, these will be clearly indicated in the workshop description.

All workshops are delivered live online via a video conferencing platform. Access links and any supporting materials are shared with participants before each session.

No. All sessions are conducted live and are not recorded.ARCHIVO’s workshops are designed around active participation, dialogue, and collective discussion. For this reason, live attendance is considered an integral part of the learning experience.

Workshop sessions cannot be accessed afterwards or repeated. As each workshop is conceived as a coherent and continuous learning experience, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all scheduled sessions.

ARCHIVO does not currently offer scholarships for its workshops.Workshop fees are intentionally set at the lowest sustainable level, balancing accessibility with the fair remuneration of invited mentors and the long-term sustainability of the programme. To support wider access, each workshop includes an Early Bird registration period with a reduced fee.In addition, ARCHIVO Research Network members and ARCHIVO Subscribers (Patrons and Benefactors) are eligible for a discounted registration rate. Yes. Participants who attend the workshop in full may request a Certificate of Participation.

In the rare case of cancellation, participants will be offered a rescheduled session or a full refund.

Participants may cancel their registration within 48 hours of completing the registration process and receive a 90% refund of the registration fee. The remaining 10% is retained to cover administrative and processing costs.After the initial 48-hour period, or once the workshop has commenced, registrations are considered confirmed and no refunds can be issued. This policy reflects the fact that the viability of each workshop depends on the number of confirmed participants.
