TIME AFTER TIME
Pictures between instant and duration
The Reframing the Archive International Symposium is Archivo Platform's closing event of the year, and the final activity developed through collaboration with the current group of research associates of the Platform. The present edition of Reframing the Archive connects with the second volume of Archivo Papers Journal, entitled Shaping Times: Photography and the Artistic Construction of the Contemporary, and aims to further explore the subject by opening the work developed by our Archivo Research Network to a symposium with new contributors who are interesting in presenting their research and practice. In this context, it brings together researchers and artists to discuss how photography and other time-based media contribute towards the perception of time and the construction of the contemporary.
We are pleased to announce this year's edition Time After Time: pictures between instant and duration, with the guest speakers Jojakim Cortis & Adrian Soderegger, and more soon to be announced. Attendance to the symposium is free but registration is required. To register for the event, please click on the registration button below. Furthermore, we welcome new contributors through the call for papers below, currently open to scholars, researchers, and artists to send proposals for both scholarly paper presentations and visual projects or performative presentations.
Participation at the event is free of charge, but registration is compulsory.
A donation option is available for supporting this event. Archivo Platform is a non-profit organisation and your support is much appreciated!
