About this session
We are pleased to invite you to the online presentation of the visual projects developed during Archivo LAB 2025.
This year’s edition, mentored by artist Aikaterini Gegisian, explores the theme “The Archive as Model and Source: Creative Appropriations in Visual Arts”, and features project presentations by participating artists Ellen Nolan (UK), Laura Fiorio (IT), Marianne Bjørnmyr (NO), and Marta Bogdańska (PL).
Archivo LAB 2025 has provided a space for artistic research and experimentation, where artists investigated the archive as both a conceptual framework and a material source. Working with personal and institutional collections, the participants developed projects that interrogate how archives construct memory, history, and fiction, challenging established narratives and imagining new visual possibilities.
The event is free of charge, but registration is required.
