Camille Relet (b.1996) is a French multi-disciplinary artist based in Wales, who graduated with a Master’s in Photography – Contemporary Dialogues from Swansea College of Arts. Her practice addresses concepts such as the transient condition of one’s nature and identity in relation to language, territories, memory and history. She considers visual connections to philosophy, literature, mythology and science as a method to create poetic narratives whilst exploring the potential for photographic processes to be combined with other media. Situated between photographic journalism and poetic photography, her practice disseminates historical facts in a way which provides a space of contemplation for the viewer.
