I am a photo archive researcher and cataloguer based in Milan. I hold a PhD in Art History, focused on the photographic mediation of social and political crises in Britain since the neoliberal turn. I began my career on the editorial team at Photoworks before acting as the Digital Editor for the online Ideas Series. I have since worked across archival exhibitions, publications and research initiatives for private and public institutions in the UK and Italy.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am currently cataloguing the Historical Photographic Archive of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, Italy. Previously I collaborated with the Museo Nazionale di Fotografia in Milan on cataloguing and research projects (specially their holding of works by women photographers since the 1960s). In June 2026, I will undertake a research residency in the photographic archive at the National Library of Ireland, funded by Creative Europe and the Goethe-Institut.
