BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Photographer, artist, and researcher from Porto Alegre (RS) and PhD student in Communication and Culture at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Research focus on photography, landscape, temporality, and environmental issues. She worked for many years as a professional photographer on cultural projects at the Vila Flores Poa Cultural Institute and Fluxo School of Photography. Currently in a research exchange as visiting scholar at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society (Germany). 


RESEARCH INTERESTS


Visual research focus in documental and experimental artistic photography about environmental issues and indigenous reclaims of land. Taught courses on photography at IFRS (2023) and UFRJ (2024-2025). Part of the Photography, Image and Thought Research Group (UFRJ) and the Grupo Transbordamento, coordinated by Edu Monteiro (Rio de Janeiro). Works as a volunteer photographer and designer with the Coletivo Ambiente Crítico, which supports socio-environmental movements in the city of Porto Alegre.
